Policies & Info.

Booking & Deposits
To secure your tattoo appointment, a minimum non-refundable deposit of $50 is required during consultation. Please note that deposit amounts may vary depending on location of the hosting shop. Deposits are applied towards the final cost of your tattoo and can be made via cash or card directly to the artist.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Respecting each other's time is crucial. A 24-hour advance notice is required for any cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit. Any client arriving later than 30 minutes before a scheduled appointment without sending a message through the booking app or an email notice to their artist in advance is at risk of losing their deposit. Arriving unprepared for your appointment (e.g., not having proper identification) and thereby causing a delay in, or resulting in, rescheduling of your appointment may also result in loss of deposit, at the artist's discretion.
Design Development & Rejection
Deposits act as security for the artist's reserved time, as well as for their time spent on developing the tattoo design. If an appointment is canceled due to rejection of the tattoo design, the deposit will be kept as compensation for the artist's time spent developing the art. If the first two initial tattoo designs are rejected, a $75 redraw fee will be required for each additional finalized design created.
Appointment Etiquette & Requirements
No one under 18 years old can be tattooed. A government-issued ID is required at your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
Each artist decides to tattoo an individual based on their own discretion -- in particular, concerning hand/finger/face/neck tattoos.
Originality & Design Considerations
we refuse to tattoo copies of other people’s tattoo designs. Our artists will use ideas based on your image references to generate a custom tattoo only for you. In some instances, artists may ask that a client seek permission to tattoo a design drawn by an artist who is not a tattooer. Our aim is to show respect to those who work hard to hone their craft, and we will actively strive to ensure we are working within the boundaries of our own ethics.
Health Precautions & Policies
We will not tattoo you while you are pregnant or nursing. Being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is prohibited under Washington State law for persons getting a tattoo. We will deny service to those who appear impaired or belligerent. Person's are required to be of sound mind in order to make the decision to be tattooed, so please stay off the ‘mood enhancers.' If you have a heart condition, epilepsy, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, diabetes, hemophilia, take medicine that thins the blood, or any other communicable disease, talk to your doctor first. PLEASE advise your artist before your appointment.
Feel free to reach out for any inquiries or clarifications regarding our policies. We may update or modify these policies as needed to ensure the best possible experience for our clients.Thank you for your consideration for your tattoo needs. I look forward to collaborating with you on your next tattoo journey!

Aftercare

With sterile, breathable, waterproof film composite bandage ("tegaderm"):

Leave the adhesive bandage on for at most 4-5 DAYS. Do not lift it, change it or drain it during this time. It will protect your tattoo from infection, abrasion, irritation and contamination while it is going through the most important part of its healing. It is NORMAL for blood, ink and clear fluids to collect under the bandage, and can produce a contained liquid pouch. If fluid leaks or the bandage becomes compromised in other ways, please remove the bandage as soon as safely possible.
For removal, gently peel the bandage by pulling it slowly from the edge and stretch away (similar how you stretch Command Strips off walls). Do not pull the bandage upwards.
Refer to the information below for steps after the adhesive bandage is removed.

Without adhesive bandage, the “good ole’ fashion way” :

Within 2 hours, or when in a controlled environment (i.e. your home/hotel) wash hands thoroughly with liquid antibacterial soap (Dial Gold, Softsoap) and gently remove wrap and dressings.Wet the tattoo with water as hot as you can comfortably stand, then carefully apply a soft lather of liquid antibacterial soap (Dial Gold, Softsoap). Rinse the lather from the tattoo with cold water. After the first night, warm water should be used when washing your tattoo.
Allow tattoo to air dry when possible, or gently blot dry with a paper towel.
DO NOT USE COTTON TOWELS. DO NOT REBANDAGE.Once dry, gently apply water based non-scented lotions or well-worked tattoo butter to the tattoo. Being careful to apply only a thin layer, and to not smother/suffocate the tattoo. I do NOT recommend Vaseline, Aquafore or similar.WASH HANDS & TATTOO BEFORE REAPPLYING AFTERCARE LOTIONS
REPEAT THESE STEPS 2-3 TIMES A DAY UNTIL TATTOO IS HEALED

  • Avoid tight-fitting or abrasive clothing worn over the tattoo. If you find that clothing or bed sheets have dried to the tattoo, wet cloth thoroughly and carefully peel the cloth away. Repeat aftercare instructions.

  • Do not irritate your tattoo. Pat around the tattoo to alleviate any itching sensation.

  • Keep pets and pet hair/dander away from your tattoo.

  • Use fresh bed sheets/pillowcases & wear clean clothing.

  • Do not pick at any flaking/scabs that may occur.

  • Do not submerge your tattoo in water. Baths, hot tubs, and all swimming should be avoided until healing is complete. Your regular shower routine is fine, provided you wash your tattoo independently with liquid antibacterial hand soap, and not with your regular shower soaps/shampoos.

  • No tanning or excessive direct sunlight until healing is complete. Liberal use of sunscreen (SPF 40+) is recommended after tattoo is healed.

  • Adjust to the needs of your skin and do not hesitate to ask your artist questions.
